Welcome to Cloud9Zouk Weekender Mid Year Ball 2024🧡

This is a weekend full of dancing, learning and reconnecting. Every year in June, Cloud9Zouk celebrates our beautiful Zouk Community that we have here in Brisbane & around Australia & NZ by putting on our Mid Year Ball.😍

In 2023, we are expanding and bringing new Ideas to our event, making it better, bigger and more awesome but keeping the same friendly feel there.

Save the date and join us with another marathon weekend of dancing with inspiring workshops, epic parties, fun and friends! This year’s Cloud 9 Zouk Mid Year Ball weekend will be taking place from Thur 27th June - Sun 30th June 2024.

So we have added a night to warm everyone up for the weekend, as well as bringing on a new concept to add some more spice to the event!

Our Mid Year Ball weekend is this year extending to 4 marathon nights of dancing, as well as an extra day of workshops. 😍

We are again excited to bring a unique International Couple to add to our longstanding & wonderful line up of national artists 💖

Intensive Courses opportunities are still a part of our weekend and will be taking place on the Sunday 🌟

We are making sure this event is still a relaxed and super sociable one, with many opportunities to hang out with friends and enjoy Brisbane. 🤗

So, let's have a BIG weekend of dancing and fun with all of our dancing friends new & old! ✨💃🕺🌟

C: AMATEUR Strictly :

- Any dancers from all levels. As long as they DO NOT get paid for dance (so some teaching assistants may still qualify as Amateur).

- You choose your partner for this competition, and will be social dancing/improvised dance in groups of 2 - 6 couples with 2 - 3 songs to rotate position.

- We will have 2 Heats over 2 days - Preliminary & Finals

The Open/Pros Strictly category also has a major prize for 1st place. 🏆💰

REFUND POLICY: Tickets to this event are non Refundable, but transferrable to another person of the same dance role. A transfer fee of $30 applies per ticket. We are also happy to transfer your tickets to our next event if not less than 24 hours notice has been given before the start of the event. 

*In case of Covid lockdown: For those dancing friends who are joining us from interstate and are concerned about any potential lockdown due to Covid, we can guarantee a refund or credit transfer to our next event. 😊
