So, we have been thinking to bring this new idea to our dance school as well as opening it up to our community in Brissy for a while now, and finally here it is. 🥳

The idea behind this is dancing should feels like we are playing games like when we were kids on the playground, we we approach it from this angle then we are open to be more curious and open to explore, have fun AND there won't be a right or wrong move. It is about being safe & feeling our body and the movement. 

We are providing a space for EVERYONE for 1.5 hour of assisted Zouk Playground where you get to explore movements you have been learning at classes or festival workshops, to ask questions from our Cloud9 team, or just take the opportunity to work on your choreo or routine in the space provided to slow and soft background music. 

So, let's bring that inner child back. 🤩😊

An assisted and designated time & space provided for any Zouk lovers, regardless where you're learning, to practice the materials they have learnt in the focus classes or workshops at the festivals, materials from regular classes, or to practice your routine or just simply dance to slow and soft music.

🕺💃 FOCUS CLASSES🕺💃

There is also a separate component of the night and we are calling it Focus Classes.

In this series of focused 4-week workshops we will be working on head motion topics and specifically Boneca variations, Tilted head turns, Rotisseries, active & passive head movements...etc with Cloud9 teaching team. It is a great opportunity to dive into techniques, and flow of the head motion specifically, and feel the ground & improve your technique.
