Looking to enter the Strictly Zouk freestyle competitions but you don't have a partner? Don't worry!

We are giving you 2 opportunities to find a dance partner that you feel good & connected dancing with 🙂

1. Option 1:

Here is a Conversation Thread to get those interested in the competition talking and getting connected.

Simply leave a comment below that you are interested and hopefully we can find you a match. Then go onto the website and register for it, so we can things ready for when you get our the event.

2. Option 2:

We will be running an information session this upcoming Friday of the event, at the start of lunch time, for all the competitors and anyone interested to learn more. Plus we will give you an opportunity to dance amongst each other and hopefully find a good match to compete together with, or just feel comfortable with the dance floor with your chosen partner.

Competition registrations will close promptly at the end of lunch Friday.

Our aim in introducing these Strictly competitions to our event is to create a positive & encouraging environment that inspires dancers from different levels to partner up and work on their dance skills, Zouk movements & techniques that they have been learning in regular dance classes or festivals.

Positive and encouraging environment means that we are working on our own skills and abilities to be better than before (in other words, you compare yourself to your ‘old self’ rather than against others).

It means we are super supportive of other competitors and our friends and are happy to see their improvements and achievements.

Let's go out there with a positive mindset towards yourself & your fellow competitors, enjoy and value the opportunity to challenge yourselves, and let's all have LOADS OF FUN 🤗
