This year International Zouk Day is going to be another wonderful day of activities and collaborations & performances by our local schools and dancers from Brisbane and surrounds, to celebrate and to promote this beautiful dance style to the public. ๐๐๐คฉโจ๐๐บโจ๐
We will have many exciting plans for you for the day and can't wait to share it with you all! ๐
โฃ๏ธ INTERNATIONAL ZOUK DAY FLASH MOB 2023 โฃ๏ธ
Would you like to be part of IZD Flash Mob 2023?!
This is an awesome idea, running since 2012!, where teams of dancers from many cities around the world will be participating in learning a choreography by one of our International Zouk Day artists, then performing it in public. ๐คฉ๐๐บโจ
Performance videos are then submitted to the IZD international committee to be compiled into a video of all participating teams from around the world. ๐ค๐.
A key feature of IZD is the IZD Flashmob Choreo. โจ๐คฉ
This year we have 3 amazing Choreos to one song, created by 3 talented rising stars from around the globeโจ๐
Teams will perform their selected choreo(s) internationally on Sat 16th of Sept, 2023. ๐คฉ๐๐บ๐๐บ๐๐

We are excited to announce that Cloud 9 Zouk is planning to teach 2 of the Flashmob Choreos again this year. ๐คฉ
We will have Dominik & Monika's Routine for all the levels of zouk dancers as well as Ashe & Imaan's routine for advanced dancers.
Training to commence on Wed 2nd Aug over 7 x Wednesdays from 6pm to 7:15pm for Dominik & Monika's routine & 7:30 to 9:00pm for Imaan & Ashe's routine at East Brisbane State School (56 Wellington Rd).

๐ Flashmob Choreo team registration includes a discounted Party Pass for IZD Party on the night ๐
๐ We will be performing the flashmob routines twice on the day, once to the public during the daytime activities in Queen St Mall , and again at night during the Party. ๐๐บ๐
๐ IZD Flashmob Choreo team members will also receive discount code for pass to Brisbane Zouk Festival 2023 and have the opportunity to perform the IZD routine with our International artists Monika & Dominik who will be joining us in person at Brisbane Zouk Festival in Nov. Woohoo! ๐คฉ๐
PS Note: for those interested in further training of movements & detailed breakdown of some of the techniques involved in the choreo, these will be covered during Cloud 9 Zouk's regular classes on Thurs nights, 7:30 - 8:30pm, and you are welcome to contact us to discuss.
